Starlink Broadband and Home Network Installation

Combat low speeds and unreliable internet connections with Starlink internet. Ideal for rural areas, high-volume home networks, and remote office buildings, Starlink’s satellite internet provides fast, reliable speeds, no matter how much gaming, streaming and video conferencing is going on.

Starlink provides high-speed, low-latency broadband internet, and is a satellite-based internet service that is ideal for use in remote locations where more usual fibre and copper broadband connections are either poor or unavailable.

While the equipment is expensive, it only needs an open view of the sky (almost straight up) so is ideal to be installed high up and away from buildings or trees. This will ensure it works correctly and that your equipment is safe. This is not difficult to achieve in almost all installs, and unlike satellite TV, does not need to be pointing in a specific direction (other than up!).

- Your local Starlink installers -

Covering the whole of Cumbria, the North East, and southern Scotland, we are registered Trusted UK Starlink Installers, installing satellite broadband across the region. Having worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, there’s not much we don’t know about WiFi and broadband.

And it’s not just expertise that we offer: our customer service and aftercare is award-winning. We’ve won customers services awards at:

  • SME Awards for Northern England

  • Northern Prestige Awards for 3 years running

  • Scotland Prestige Awards 2024

Effective installation

Starlink internet uses advanced satellites in a low orbit, which are connected to your home or office by a carefully installed dish. To ensure the best speeds, your equipment needs to be placed in an optimal location, without interference from trees and buildings. It can’t just be stuck onto any old wall.

When you call us to set up your Starlink service, we’ll carefully assess your property to find the best spot, then install your equipment, get you set up on the app, and explain how to use everything.

Fair pricing

We charge a fixed fee of £250 for Starlink installation, which includes free mesh installation if required (hard wiring mesh involves an extra charge, but this is rarely required). We don’t charge anything extra for occasional support and troubleshooting. Most national companies charge between £450 and £700 for a basic installation, but we believe in keeping prices fair and accessible.

20 years of experience

Barry has worked with internet and broadband for nearly 20 years, so you’ll struggle to find anyone who knows more about it! As a result, we’re able to offer unparalleled expert advice and an unbeatable service.

Hire us and get us

We don’t sub-contract our work, so you know that you’re getting us. You’ll speak to Barry via email or over the phone, and it will be Barry who turns up on the agreed date of installation, along with an assistant.

Award-winning aftercare

We’re also here to help after your installation. If you have any issues with your Starlink connection, it can be difficult to get through to the official helpline, which is based in California in the US. Instead, give us a call and, on most occasions, we’ll be able to talk you through a fix and get you back up and running in just a few minutes. Barry has even been known to fix problems remotely while sunning himself on a beach in the Canary Islands!

On the rare occasion when a remote fix isn’t possible, we can arrange a site visit to assess the problem in more detail.

- Starlink installation services -

We can install Starlink broadband at homes, in rural locations, and at businesses. Once you give us a call, we’ll chat about what you need, make recommendations, and ask you to order the relevant Starlink hardware. When you’ve done that, let us know and we’ll fix an installation date that works for everyone.
On the day, we’ll bring all the mounting equipment – we use the best available – and will get everything set up for you.
It usually takes around 7 to 10 days from ordering your equipment to having your new Starlink satellite broadband installed.

Home network installation

Home is a busy place for your internet connection. You’ll often have many high-data activities going on at once, whether that’s gaming, streaming, or video conferencing. There’s nothing more frustrating that lagging internet, or drop-outs when you’re in an important meeting or in the middle of a tricky part of your game.

Starlink internet has the advantage of fast speeds between 100 Mb/s and 200 Mb/s and latency as low as 20ms in most locations. That means it can handle a lot of online activity at once. For even more reliability, we can also provide home network designs and installation, including separate networks for your home office.

Rural broadband solutions

Starlink is one of the best broadband options in rural areas because it doesn’t rely on wired connections that may be miles away from your home, farm or office. With satellite internet, you can expect similar speeds in the countryside to what you would get in the centre of a town. We work a lot with the farming community to ensure they can access superfast broadband speeds through Starlink internet.

Starlink for business

Ensure you have a reliable and stable internet connection at your workplace, whether that’s in the middle of a city like Carlisle, or in a remote spot in the heart of the Lake District. Starlink for Business will supercharge your office broadband and WiFi speeds.
